Note: The files that are zipped are compressed to save storage space and speed up downloading due to their sheer size. Save the file that ends in .zip to your hard drive. Then double click it. If your computer has the appropriate program, it will ask you where you want to store the enlarged (unzipped) file. Select a folder where you store your family trees. Once you do that, you can open the database using Family Tree Maker, Legacy Family Tree, or some other Family Tree Software.
Important Note: Since the data was stored in Family Tree Maker, other programs will probably not be formatted exactly the same and may have unpredictable results reading the files. Best viewing is in FTM version 16.
